Website design
Custom website design: a site built to bring you enquiries
A website is not a shop window you put online once and forget. For a business, it has three jobs: to be found on Google, to earn trust within seconds, and to turn a visit into an enquiry, a call or a booking. We design every site around those three jobs, for businesses in Haguenau, Strasbourg, the Eurométropole and northern Alsace.

Which projects is this for?
- You are starting or taking over a business and starting from scratch.
- Your business currently relies on a Facebook page or a Google profile, with no site of your own.
- You are launching a new service, a new brand or an online shop.
- Your current site was put together "for now" on a website builder and no longer keeps up with your business.
- Some of your customers speak German, English or Turkish, and your site needs to exist in several languages.
- You want to know exactly what you own: domain name, accounts, access.
What a Daphné website project includes
- Scoping workshop: your customers, your services, your service area and what the site needs to deliver.
- Structure and messaging: one page per key service, one clear call to action on every page.
- Custom design that reflects your business, designed for mobile first.
- Custom development with current web technologies (for example Next.js): a lightweight, secure, accessible site, multilingual where needed.
- Technical foundations for Google and AI systems: semantic structure, tags, speed, structured data where relevant.
- Measurement set up at launch, within the agreed scope: consent-based Google Analytics 4, enquiry tracking and a readable report.
- Ownership, access and handover of the code, domain and accounts are defined and documented in the proposal.
- An online shop if your business needs one: product catalogue, online payment, order and delivery management, on the solution that best fits your products and volume.
- Optionally, an AI welcome assistant: it answers your visitors' common questions from your own information, at any hour, and passes enquiries on to you. It clearly presents itself as an automated assistant.

Being found: Google, Google Maps and AI assistants
A new site starts with no history on Google. What helps it get found is, first of all, a sound and consistent foundation, which we lay from the design stage:
- one page per service, with a title and content that say clearly what you do and where;
- identical information across your site, your Google profile and useful directories;
- a site Google and Bing can crawl from launch day, with a sitemap submitted in their tools;
- structured data where it matches the content actually shown;
- content written to be understood by a reader, a search engine and an AI model.
What we do not promise: a ranking on Google, an appearance in an AI answer, or a timeframe for either. Nobody can guarantee that; we put the honest conditions in place to compete for it, and we measure.
Custom-built, WordPress or a website builder?
A custom-built site is not always the right answer. For a simple need and a tight budget, a lighter solution may be enough, and we will say so. What matters is that the solution fits what the site needs to deliver, that you stay in control of it, and that it can grow with your business.
How it works
- Free digital review: your business, your current presence on Google, your goals.
- Written proposal: scope, stages, budget, ownership and access.
- Design and development, with sign-off at each stage.
- Launch, measurement and handover.
Client example
Vitasy — a site designed and built from scratch
For Vitasy, we designed and built a new site from scratch to replace an existing one: structure, design, development and launch. The site has been delivered; since then, we have continued working with the company on measurement, its Google Business Profile and local visibility.

Google PageSpeed performance scores measured before and after the redesign — August 2026
- PageSpeed performance — mobile
- 5598
- PageSpeed performance — desktop
- 65100
These scores are Google PageSpeed technical measurements taken on the home page in August 2026. They are neither a promise of results nor a measure of traffic, ranking or revenue.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a website cost?
The budget depends on the number of pages, languages, features and the content to be produced. It is set out item by item in a written proposal, after the free review. Funding may be available depending on your situation, notably in the Eurométropole de Strasbourg: see our guide to website funding.
How long does it take to build a website?
It depends on the scope and on when the content (text, photos) is available. The schedule is set in the proposal, with sign-off stages.
Will my site be visible on Google?
We lay the technical and editorial foundations and submit the site to Google and Bing at launch. Visibility then builds over time; no ranking or timeframe can be guaranteed.
Who will own the site, the domain name and the accounts?
Ownership, access and handover are defined and documented in the proposal, before the project starts.
Will I be able to update my site myself?
Yes, depending on your needs. A custom-built site can include an admin area for content that changes often: news, projects, products, opening hours. Other changes are made by us, according to the support plan you choose. If you want to manage everything yourself, a solution such as WordPress may suit you better; we discuss this in the proposal.
Do you work with businesses in Strasbourg?
Yes. We work with businesses in Haguenau, Strasbourg, the Eurométropole and northern Alsace; meetings take place by video call or in person.
Do you work in Turkish?
Yes, we work in French and Turkish.
Can you build an online shop?
Yes. We set up the e-commerce infrastructure that suits your products: catalogue, online payment, orders and deliveries. The solution is chosen in the proposal, based on your volume and how you want to run the shop.
What is an AI welcome assistant?
It is an assistant built into your site that answers common questions (opening hours, services, service area, procedures) from information you approve, and passes enquiries on to your team. It does not replace your advice: it makes sure no question goes unanswered in the evening or at the weekend.
We work with businesses in Haguenau, Strasbourg, the Eurométropole and Northern Alsace; meetings take place by video call or on site.
