Local visibility & Google Business Profile

Be found on Google and Google Maps, where your customers are looking for you

For most local searches — "plombier Haguenau", "restaurant Strasbourg centre" — Google first shows a map with a few businesses. An incomplete, inconsistent or abandoned profile reduces your chances of appearing there. Local visibility means making sure your Google profile, your website and your information tell the same story, everywhere.

Why your business may not appear on Google Maps

  1. The profile has never been claimed or verified.
  2. The primary category does not match your trade.
  3. Name, phone number and address differ from one site to another.
  4. No reviews, or no replies to reviews.
  5. Abandoned profile: old photos, wrong opening hours, no updates.
  6. Service areas or address entered incorrectly (a business without premises, for example).

What we put in place

  • Profile audit: categories, description, services, service areas, opening hours, photos, attributes.
  • NAP consistency (name, address, phone) between the profile, the website and useful directories.
  • Website and profile connected: service pages that match Google categories, tracked link, structured data where it reflects the visible content.
  • Review system: a simple request after each job, no incentives, replies in your own voice.
  • Monthly follow-up: what the profile generated (calls, directions, clicks), what we adjust.

Visibility: Google, Maps and AI assistants

The same principles apply to local search and to AI assistants: a profile and a website that say the same thing (name, address, phone, services, area), explicit service pages, readable content, structured data consistent with what is displayed, and a crawlable website.

We guarantee neither a position on the map, nor an appearance in an AI answer, nor being cited as a source — we put in place the conditions for your business to be correctly understood.

How we work: our own profile as an example

We apply the same method to our own Google profile: categories chosen to match our services, a local description, detailed services, service areas limited to where we actually work, brand photos, a reply to every review. It is not a promise of results — it is the way we work, publicly visible.

No premises? That works too

Many tradespeople, home-service providers and consultants work without a shopfront. Google allows for it: a "service area" profile, hidden address, precise areas of operation. It still has to be configured correctly.

Client example

Vitasy — a profile created from scratch

After the new Vitasy site was delivered, the company had no Google Business Profile. We created it from scratch and we are configuring it: categories, services, service areas, link to the site. This work is in progress and continues with the company.

A separate stage from the site delivery. No performance data is published: the work is in progress and is not presented as finished.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a website to have a Google profile?

No, but the profile and the website reinforce each other.

How long before I appear?

It varies and no guarantee is possible: profile changes go through Google's validation.

Can reviews be bought?

No. It is prohibited and risky: the profile can be suspended.

Do you also handle directories (Pages Jaunes, etc.)?

Only those useful to your trade; no mass submissions.

What if my profile is suspended?

There is a reinstatement procedure; we support you through it.

We work with businesses in Haguenau, Strasbourg, the Eurométropole and Northern Alsace; meetings take place by video call or on site.
